***New 2008 - 2009 Schedule***

Spotlight Theatre School's mandate is to provide hands-on performance experience and appreciation for the arts through musical theatre, drama, comedy, scriptwriting and workshops in television and film acting. Students prepare to participate in traditional, contemporary and original works for the stage. Programs enable participants to increase their knowledge of the arts and literature, memorization, public speaking, presentation skills, prepare for further study and post secondary arts education. Performers may choose to enter solo, duologue, group drama and Musical Theatre competitions.

34 Students attended Access Broadway Competition (Pennsylvannia) in May 2008 gaining valuable, varied and unique experiences in trainning and performance. Spotlight performers have the opportunity to do the same in Michigan in 2009. Spotlight's non-profit division The Voice Impact Project is dedicated to promoting theatre for young audiences and family, performing at schools, community, corporate, private, public education events and festivals . This enables performers to gain volunteer hours, leadership skills and increase performance experience.
