A Midsummer Night’s Dream-Youth Musical

  Shakespeare like never before in this fresh, new rendition of the old classic. Designed for children and  teens this production features original songs in a variety of musical styles from madrigal, rap and 50s “dowop” Class involves acting, singing, choreography, audition preparation. Confusion arises as the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors, are controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest nearby.

*Variety Style Performance at the end of each week-each Friday a variety style show is held at 4:30-5:15. shows include fun scenes and songs from new popular musicals, plays and scripts as well as classical scenes and stories. Students are very involved and have the opportunity to sing and dance to pop song finales. 

Show samples Themes include: Camp Rock, High School Musical, The Lion King, The Wizard of Oz, Mamma Mia, Mary Poppins

*Program instructors are Adults, College/University students, High school Students experienced and trainning in Acting, Musical Theatre, Vocal Music, Dance, Visual Arts. Coaches, assistants and athletes in sports and physical activity
